This article explains how to obtain your test credentials ( FedEx Account #, Meter Number, Test Key, Company Contact and Password ) from FedEx to enable to FedEx Test Environment in Komet.

  • To complete the below-explained processes you must have a FedEx account. In case you do not have an account, please register your company in FedEx.
  • This is a one time process. Multilocation companies must enter their own test credentials for each location that will use this integration.

 Go to the Developer Resource Center at https://www.fedex.com/en-us/developer.html


Ui step

Log in with the same credentials you use to access to FedEx.


Ui step

 Click on the FedEx Web Services menu and select Develop and Test.

Click on the Get your test key button.




Ui step

 Complete your Contact Info as it is shown in the image below and click on Continue. At this step, you will see the Contact Information (first name + last name) (which must be entered into Komet).

The next section will be the License Authorization. If you agree with it, click on I Accept.

A confirmation window will appear. Please make sure of record your Developer Test Key, Meter Number and Account Number for future reference.

As a final step, FedEx will send you an email. Copy the Test Password and reserve the other information for later. It will be necessary to create the test customer in your Komet Account.
