The system allows users to choose which information should be printed on the BOL. If the product information is too long, a generic description can be used. The option to create the BOL for Mass Market accounts is also available from this part of the system.


Generic Product Description

The system allows the user to choose a generic product description "Fresh Cut Flowers" or to use the full product description as needed.

This setting applies both for single BOLs and consolidated BOLs. For further information, please read Print Bills of Lading (BOLs).


Changing the Product Description on the BOL:

In order to change the product description please follow the below:

Go to Setup > Settings > Shipping Options click on Bill of Lading Options.


Ui step

 Check the Use Generic Product Description option by clicking on the check box.


Ui step

 Once done the system will print "Fresh Cut Flowers" instead of the product description in the Bill of Lading.

BOL for Mass Market 

The system will allow for the BOL for Mass Market accounts to be created. The BOL will include columns with Item Id #, Item Code, Qty, Product, Pack, Pallets, UPC and Box Size values.

Instructions

In order to enable  this option:

Go to Setup > Settings > Shipping Options > Bill of Lading Options.

Once the Bill of Lading Options screen pops up, check the Use BOL for Mass Market accounts and save.

 Once selected, the system will print the Consolidated BOL with information for Mass Market accounts. Here is an example of what it will look like:
