Overview

Excerpt

The receiving process allows a user to scan boxes in order to mark them as received.

This option cannot be used to:

  • Change the position of a box. For this use option  5 (five) "Update Box Location".
  • Return a box to inventory, for boxes previously invoiced and scanned as Shipped. For this use option 6 (six) "Return Boxes".

Note

It's important to clarify and emphasize that the option Return Boxes must be used on the scan gun when returning a box, which in some cases many companies don't keep in mind and simply return the box to the cooler without scanning it. This causes major issues when reconciling the inventory at the end of the day.

Repeat the process until all boxes are scanned. The scanning status of the receiving process under an AWB # can be viewed under the Tracking > AWB Summary tab. Search for the AWB #, and under the "Received Warehouse" column you will see the total boxes that were scanned as received.
