Overview

Enabling this option will allow the warehouse user to select the Ship Date in the shipping process via the Pick Ticket option, afterward, the system will validate that such Pick Ticket option belongs to the date selected.

In order to enable this option please follow these steps:

Go to Setup > Settings and locate the Shipping section. Click on Scanner Options.

Select the option Validate Ship Date when shipping by Pick Ticket

When the setting is enabled, in the Shipping by Pick Ticket option, the system will allow the user to select a date before selecting the first Pick Ticket.

  • The user will have the option to choose the date between the options Today, Tomorrow, Yesterday or Day after Tomorrow.

Once the number (1, 2, 3 or 4) is selected, the system will show the date and allow the user to continue, by entering the Pick Ticket or the Puller code.


Warning

If the Pick Ticket doesn't belong to the date selected, the system will stop the process, play 3 beeps and show the following message:

Pick Ticket ##### is not for DATE_SELECTED

  • When this happens, enter OK and choose another Pick Ticket

Once the Pick Ticket is correctly entered based on the date, the system will show the currently active Date to continue scanning boxes for the same Order.

  • If the Pick Ticket is changed, the system will validate again if the Pick Ticket belongs to the active date where the user working on.

In order to change the Date, the user needs to enter "D". This will allow users to choose a Date again.

Users will have to start the process by entering the Pick Ticket or Puller Code.

  • The "H: More Options" section will also display this option when the setting is enabled.

When the setting is turned off, the system will not validate when the Pick Ticket will be shipped

  • Passwords won't be visible on "Free Shipping" and "Assign Puller" options. Password input can be enabled or disabled when the "Block Options in the scanner" setting is on and when an attempt is made to do Free Shipping or assign a Puller in the Shipping process.
