The system allows users with the Clearent Integration enabled to add, delete and edit credit card terminals so users can used them to process payments directly from the accounts receivable and Order Entry screens.

titleHow to Add a Terminal

Go to Setup>>Settings.


Ui step

 Click on Credit Card Terminals, under Accounts Receivables settings.


Ui step

 The Credit Card Terminal window will open. Click on Add Credit Card Terminal.


Ui step

Enter a Name for the terminal (for example the model), a description (it could be a description of the place where the terminal is located).


Ui step

Enter the API key (which is provided by Clearent).


Ui step

Click on Save to finish.


Ui step

The Terminal will be ready to be used while receiving payments.

titleHow to Delete a Credit Card Terminal

The system will not allow users to delete terminals that have already been used.

Go to Setup>>Settings.


Ui step

 Click on Credit Card Terminals, under Accounts Receivables settings.

 The Credit Card Terminal window will open. 


Ui step

For the terminal you want to delete, go to the Actions column and click on Delete.


Ui step

The terminal will be deleted from the system and a confirmation window will appear at the lower right hand corner of the screen.

Go to Setup>>Settings.

 Click on Credit Card Terminals, under Accounts Receivables settings.

 The Credit Card Terminal window will open.


Ui step

For the terminal you want to edit, go to the Actions column and click on Edit.


Ui step

The Add/Edit Credit Card Terminal window will open, make the necessary changes and click on Save. Notice that it is also possible to activate/deactivate terminals from this screen.
