This article explores the different issues you may encounter while adding products to your shopping cart. Komet offers custom error messages and warning messages, so you will only order products that are actually available.

Context

While ordering products on e-commerce, cut-off times will limit the range of products available at the time you are placing a given order. It is possible that you are not able to place an order or add a certain product to your shopping cart. This would depend on your carrier and ship date combination, cut-off times (set up per company or per carrier) or the remaining time controlled by the e-commerce timer.

There are a variety of reasons why e-commerce orders cannot be completed. Messages as the following would appear.

In this case, we recommend you to contact your sales representative so they can review your case and make an exception (if possible) or wait for the next day to place your order.The order has been canceled due to the e-commerce timer (Only applies when the e-commerce timer has been enabled for your account).

Please proceed to add the items again to the shopping cart.

This message, along with the red clock icon will appear when the cut-off time of the original source of the product has been reached. This message appears when the cut-off time of the original source of the product chosen is early than the available time of your order, so if you chose to add the product, the remaining time will be reduced.

Continue shopping with reduced time: if you select this option, the item will be added to your cart but keep in mind that the Time available to check out the order will be reduced.

Remove this item and continue shopping: if you select this option, the item will not be added to your cart and the remaining time will be the same. Search for a different product.

Check out the existing order now: the item will be added to the order and this will be checked out. The screen will refresh so yo you place a different order.
