Box dimensions can be edited and changed when necessary.

In case you need to edit or add dimensions to any box type, you can do it by going into the Setup > Box Dimensions 

as needed.

Instructions:

  1.  Setup > Box Dimensions.
  2. Click on the Add Box Dimension button to add

  2. To edit or delete the dimensions of a particular box go to the Actions column

Note
Box dimensions are arranged by
farm, there will be cases in which different farms might have the same box type but not the same dimensions
vendors as dimensions may vary from vendor to vendor.

Boxes per

Pallet 

Pallet:

The system has the option to determine the number of boxes per item per customer that fit within a pallet . This will be specified at the box dimension setup.per vendor. With this information the system will be able to let operations , operations will know how many of these boxes will fit on a pallet. This information will be printed in the BOL for Mass Market.Follow these instructions to set up the boxes per pallet

Instructions:

  1. Go to Setup > Box Dimensions
 tab > Enter the information in Boxes per Pallet field >
  1. .
  2. Click on the Add Box Dimension buttona window will pop up for the user to enter the information.
  3. Enter the information needed and Click on Save.

Why worry about box dimensions?

 

By entering the actual box dimensions the system will be able to accurately display this information (as well as the total cubes) on the Bill of Ladings. For customers that purchase items that go through Miami and are received at their facility in the US or Canada, this Lading. This helps control the freight charged by the carriers since you’ll as users will be able to compare the billed cubes against your cube estimates from the Komet Sales system. This will also help your customers when checking their freight bills against your shipmentsby carriers with those in the system.
