Instructions

To place an E-commerce order from Future Inventory follow the steps belowInventory:

1. First of all, create an order using instructions from our creating an Create an "E-Commerce" order article. 
2. When selecting the ship date the system will display future inventory for that company.
3. Select the date and product to buy.
   
   
4. After purchasing a product from Future Inventory the system will generate a Prebook instead of an Invoice. The prebook generated will not require approval from the Account Manager.
   
   
   
   
5. The system displays the shows a "Your Cart" button but where the order can be reviewed. However, it's not possible to edit products added alreadyproducts already added. If it's required the user wishes to edit any information , remove the product and select it again. Then, will need to be removed from the shopping cart and added again.
   
   
6. Once done editing the order, click on the Checkout button to submit it. The system will send an email with the prebook details to the person creating the order and to the account manager.
   
   
   
   

7. There Users will be a new tab called able to see all orders placed from the "Prebook Summary" where information relating to any Prebooks generated can be found.tab. 
   
   
   
   

   Info

   The price for Future Inventory products is the same price as the price in the Standalone Purchase Order . For this reasonproduct's price. Therefore, if a product has a $0 price in the Purchase Order, the system will not display this the product on E-Commerce.  GPM The GPM and Price-list do information will not apply for to any Prebooks generated from future inventory orders placed on the E-commerce.
