Overview

Komet allows you print rack labels in order to classify and organize your products into shelves. Please refer to Rack Labels for further information.

For Assigning a Rack Position

Follow the steps below:

1. Login into the scan gun.
2. Select option #5 (Update Box Location).
   
   
3. Select option #1 (By Box).

4. Select the option "H" for more optionsScan the Rack Label to assign.

5. Scan the Box Code. The user will then select the option M (List Boxes on Rack)

   Scan the rack code.

   Once the user has scanned the rack label, this will show a list of the boxes on that rack position by Box# and Lot# as shown below with the Total of Boxes listed.

   To continue scanning boxes press the Enter option or option "0" (zero) to go back.counter will display 1 and the box will be assigned to the rack position.

You can continue scanning boxes which will be assigned to the same rack position. For assigning another rack position, just scan the rack label and the corresponding boxes.

For Updat a Rack Position

1. Login into the scan gun.
2. Select option #5 (Update Box Location).

3. Scan the rack label to assign. In our case the rack label A001.

4. Enter the box code. The box will be assigned to the rack position we entered.
