In this section, you can learn how to configure the Outbound Freight. This setting can be enabled or disabled when needed. This setting will allow also allows you to establish the individual fuel surcharge for each of the product types.

The fuel surcharge will allow you to enter the % for each of the item typestype:

The fuel surcharge will be added to the freight that is added to which will be reflected on the invoice as an additional charge.

Instructions

To enable the Outbound "Outbound Freight" follow the steps below:

Go to Setup > SettingsImage Removed
Go Right under the Order Entry > click onon Outbound Freight.
The Outbound Freight Options window will pop-up, here you can enable or disable the option offor "Outbound Freight". Enter the percentage for of each of the item typestype: Fresh Cut or plants . Image Removed
Then required then click on Save.

Once the above has been setup, if you want to setup the capacity by customer for done. You can set up the Cube Rate capacity per customer for the outbound carrier. To do so, go to Setup > Customers > in the Actions column, edit the customer and select the , once there go to the "Actions" column and click on Edit. When the pop-up window comes up click on "Days of Servicetab. Select the carrier for the a specific day if needed and or enter in the "Cube Rate" field the value required for that specific customercustomer.
Once you create an invoice is created for the that customer with the specific carrier, the invoice , it will display the Total Cubes and Outbound Freight value and it's additional charges as shown below.

The fuel surcharge that is described here is expressed as a percentage and is provided by the US Government. This has NO RELATIONSHIP whatsoever with the existing fuel surcharge in Komet Sales.
