In this section you can configure the Outbound Freight. This setting can be enabled or disabled. This setting will allow you to establish the individual fuel surcharge for each of the product types.

The fuel surcharge will allow you to enter the % for each of the item types:

  • Fresh Cut
  • Plants

The fuel surcharge will be added to the freight that is added to the invoice. 

Instructions

To enable the Outbound Freight follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Setup > Settings



  2. Go under Order Entry > click on Outbound Freight.




  3. The Outbound Freight Options window will pop up, here you can enable or disable the option of Outbound Freight.  Enter the percentage for each of the item types: Fresh Cut or plants





  4. Then click on Save.

  5. After activating this option go to Setup > select Carriers > find the carrier that will be marked as outbound carrier. Once you find the carrier, go to the Actions column to edit. Mark the carrier as Outbound carrier and enter the Capacity in cubes. This configuration applies to all customers. 


  6. If you want to configure the capacity by customer for the outbound carrier, go to Setup > Customer > in the Actions column edit the customer and select the option Days of Service. Enter the carrier for the day that you want to have it and enter in the Cube Rate field the value for that specific customer.

 The fuel surcharge that is described here is expressed as a percentage and is provided by the US Government. This has NO RELATIONSHIP whatsoever with the existing fuel surcharge in Komet Sales.
