The Days of Service tab within the customer account allows you to setup the carrier that will be used by default on a any given day of the week for a specific customer. 


Setting up Days of Service per Customer

To setup the days of service for a customer follow these steps:

Go to Setup > Customers.

Search

 Search for the customer that you want to setup

the days of service for.Click on the edit icon

the Days of Service for.

 Click on the Edit icon located under the Actions column. This will open the customer details window.

 The Day of Service window will appear. Click on the carrier's name and click on the "Save"

Setting up Days of Service Massively

Go to Setup >> Customers.


Ui step

Use the available filters to search for the customers for which you want to set up the Days of Service massively. You must use at least one filter.

 Click on Days of Service Mass Update


Ui step

 The Mass Update Days of Service window will open. Enter the carrier for each day and once you have finished click on Process.


Ui step

A confirmation window will open informing the number of customers for which the days of service will be updated. Enter the word Confirm and click on OK.

The Day of Service window will appear. Click on the carrier's name and click on the "Save" button.

You will also be enabled to update the cube rate and the transit days, the carrier name will appear next to the day of the week.

A confirmation window will appear at the lower right corner of the screen. The information previously saved for each customer will be overridden with the information entered.

Important

Leaving a day empty, will cause the system to delete the carrier previously set.

If the settings Show the Arrival Date Instead of the Ship Date and Outbound Freight are enabled, the system will display the Transit Days and Cube rate columns for the mass update option. Leaving those field empty, the system will keep the information previously set.

During the creation of a Prebook or a Invoice, the system will suggest the Carrier based on the Ship Date selected and the days of service set up. However, in case you select a carrier and then change the Ship Date for a day where there is not carrier set up, the system will retain the original carrier for the order.
