Adding new Regions of Origin or editing existing ones

is simple

can be done by following the steps below:

Go to Setup > Settings >

Shipping and select the To

Shipping> Regions of Origin option.

  • Fill the fields on top of the grid to add a new category, once you're done click on the green "Add" button.

     Add the Region's Name and Code and click on the "Add" button to add a new one.

     To edit or delete a particular region of origin go under the "Actions" column and click on

    the option you need.

    To start tagging your categories follow the instructions below:

     Go to Setup > Products and click on the "Categories" link.

    Search for the category that you want to add regions of origin to and then

     Search the product category needed, click on "Edit".

    On the edition screen locate the "Region of Origin"

    field and

    typing in the region that you want to link the category to. Hit the enter key and they

    adding the regions needed for that product category. Hit the enter key and the regions of origin will be displayed as tags on the product categories.

    Notice that you can also add new regions of origin from this screen.

    To tag products with their regions of origin follow the steps below:

     Go to Setup > Products and search the item for which a tag will be added.

     From the "Actions" column click on "Edit" to edit the product that will be tagged.

     A new window will pop up, on the "Regions of Origin" field type in the regions where the item comes from.

     Save the changes.

    Once added, any procurement user will be able to filter by region of origin on

    the

    the Bulk Purchasing Mode

    in case they want

     in case the user wishes to create

    their POs

    the PO based on the origin of the items on the product needs list.



    Information

    Tags on products will have priority over tags on categories.
