E-commerce Filters
Filters allow e-commerce users to narrow down product listings based on specific criteria such as category, color, vendor, and more. They improve the shopping experience by making it easier to locate desired items from a vast inventory.
How Do the E-commerce Filters Work?
1. Filters Available:
When you begin your product search, you can apply various filters to refine the results. The filters available on our e-commerce platform include:

Filters Behavior
:When you select a specific filter, it influences the options available in other filters. For example:
First Filter: If you filter by one specific filter first (e.g., Category), the options for Color, Vendor, and Inventory Type will adjust to show only those relevant available to the selected Category.
Last Selected Filter: The last filter you select will reduce the products in the right side, and the other filters list will refresh to display options available based on that filter criteria.
Dynamic Search: When you change the ship date and carrier, the system will search for product availability based on the new criteria.

Filters Smart Defaults
1. Most Used Filters
The system shows the top 8 most-used categories/colors at the top of the filter section. This list is based on the most searched products and is updated every 3 months. There are 16 pre-defined categories/colors. If some of the top 8 are unavailable, the list is filled with the next available categories/colors.
2. Label Customization
The product labels in the filters reflect the company's saved names in the database. For example, "Carnations" might appear as "Carns" for Company1 and "Carnations" for Company2.
3. Fallback Options
If fewer than 8 products from the pre-defined list have inventory, the list will be filled with products from the See More option in alphabetical order.
If no products from the hard-coded list have inventory, the first 8 products from the See More option will be displayed alphabetically.
4. See More Option
All available category or color options in the See More window are displayed alphabetically, and when you scroll and select a product, it would be highlighted until you click Apply Filters to see in the grid the chosen options displayed.
Info |

The See More option will not show up when the criteria are fewer than 8 options. |
