Important Considerations

Please consider the following statements before scanning boxes:

NoteIt's important to clarify and emphasize that the option Return Boxes must be used on the scan gun when returning a box, which in some cases many companies don't keep in mind and simply return the box to the cooler without scanning it. This causes major issues

Please remember to use the returning option (6) in the scan gun to register returned boxes before putting them back. Failing to do so may create problems when reconciling the inventory at the end of the day.

titleReceiving By Box Into the System

To receive new boxes please follow the steps below:

  1. Select the option "1" (one) on the scan gun.

Follow these steps below:

Note

Outdated or Incompatible Labels

The system will validate each label you scan to ensure the information contained in it is still valid. If the label information no longer matches the order information, the system will display a message telling you to remove the box or print a new label with the updated information in order to continue the scanning process.

Receive Boxes by Box Code

To start receiving boxes by box code, do the following instructions in your scanning gun:

  1. Select option 1: Receive.

  2. Select option 2: By Box.

  3. Start scanning.

Receive Boxes by AWB

To start receiving boxes by AWB, do the following instructions in your scanning gun:

  1. Select option 1: Receive.

  2. Select option 2: By AWB.

  3. Enter the last 4 digits of the AWB. 

(If rack positioning applies, please read: Assigning and Updating Rack Position to Boxes)

  1. The scanner will show how many boxes are in the AWB pending to be scanned

, as well as rack
  1. and to which rack the boxes are being added

to if it applies.

You can review the scanning status by going to Tracking > AWB Summary and searching for the AWB. You will see the total boxes in the Received Warehouse column.

If a box was previously scanned, the scan gun will show a notification indicating that

the box has already been

Repeat the process until all boxes are scanned. The scanning status of the receiving process under an AWB # can be viewed under the Tracking > AWB Summary tab. Search for the AWB #, and under the "Received Warehouse" column you will see the total boxes that were scanned as received.

Print Labels Upon Receiving

By pressing the H key during the receiving process, the system

allows to generate

generates a batch of boxes and

print

prints its corresponding labels. You will be able to print either box labels or distribution labels. To do so, follow the next instructions:

1)
  1. Select

"1" (one) on the scan gun
  1. 1: Receive.

2) Select option "1" (one) to scan receive by box.

3)
  1. Select option 2: By Box.

  2. Press the H key to see the available options.

4)
  1. Enter the B to create a new batch and print the labels.

5) The batch will be created, proceed to scan the boxes codes which

have finished

A success message will appear informing that the labels have been printed.
