Go to Setup > Click on Settings > Find the Integrations option and select the Clearent Integration link. |

A pop-up will appear called Clearent Integration. On the bottom, you will find a checkbox that states: Allow card Pre-Authorization By enabling this setting you will allow Pre-Authorizations to be made to customer cards. Ui step |

Once the above-mentioned options are enabled, whenever a new order is being added, a new option called: Pay & Confirm will appear. Ui step |

A pop-up window called Payment Information will appear with options to make the payment. On the Payment Method drop-down option, you must select: Credit Card (In-App) from the list. Ui step |

After selecting this, a new button will appear on the same Payment Information window. This button is called: Pre-Authorize. You must click this button in order to enter your credit card details. Ui step |

Once the credit card details are submitted, you must click on the button Pre-Autorize $[Payment Amount] where you will also see the amount that you are about to authorize. ui-stepAfter completing all the above-mentioned steps, you will see the following message indicating the transaction was performed successfully. Orders with active Pre-Authorizations are identified in Order Entry > Order Summary in the Pay column. If the credit card icon is gray, the Pre-Authorization was done within 24 hours or less.
