Tokens are an authentication mechanism that allows you to give access to the API methods only to certain customers that have the authorizationfor the company.

 


To setup a token, please follow these instructions:

Go to Setup > Settings

 If a new token needs to be created, click on

 Select which Token Type needs to be added:

The type of token you select will depend on the actions and the role you require to be performed. For more details regarding the methods for each type, please, visit:



Ui step

 Input the information requested in order to complete the process:

  • Enter the token description, for example
"
  • , managing inventory
".
  • Select the API
methods that you want to grant access to
  • method needed from the list available, in this case

  • , inventory.add
".
  • Click on

  •  and the system will create a token composed

that you will have to send to your customer via email
  • . If the token was created for a Customer, the token must be sent to the customer.

     4.  If you want to edit a token you can go under the "Actions" column click on "Edit". Save your changes once you are done.
