The system allows to carry out allocations directly from the Add Prebook screen. In order for this option to work, the Sell By Units and Allow Selling Over Available Quantity options must be enabled and the Prebooks in Units must be billed as boxes setting must be disabled.

Go to Prebook & SO's > Add Prebook.

Ui step
Create the Prebook header.

Ui step
Click on the units tab and proceed to add the items.

Ui step
Click on the gray gear icon to display the Billed Units and Units to Allocate columns.

Ui step
Enter the number of units to allocate in the Units to Allocate column and hit the enter key. The system will create an invoice.
