Overview


You can register opportunities from non-sold products and that you would like to keep an eye on. You can save your lost sales from anywhere on the system using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + L. This information will be automatically available via Komet Analytics.


How to record a lost sale

You can access the Record a lost sale functionality from most parts of Komet Sales by using its keyboard shortcut and from the Add Prebook and Add Order screens. 

The following is an example of how to record a lost sales from the Order Entry module:

Go to Order Entry > Add Order

Click on the Record a Lost Sale under the General Order Information section


Ui step
Complete the sale record with the information from the product, date, quantity, and unit type.


Ui step

Click Save to complete recording the lost sale.


confirmation message will appear at thbottom right-hand corner of the screen.

You can see your lost sales stats in the Lost Sales Analysis from Komet Analytics. Click this link from the Record Lost Sales window to access this report.



Record lost sales from Multi-Location companies

Ui steps

For multi-location companies, the system will show by default the location of the system screen you have verified orders. You can also use the location drop-down list to select other locations you might want to record a lost sale.
