Add products from the Products Screen

To add products from the Product screen, do the following steps:

  1. Go to Setup and select Products. 

  2. Click on the Add Product green button.

  3. Enter the product information you need for your business.
    To learn about each option, check the Additional Product Information section.

  4. Click on Save.

  5. Click on the link Upload Product Image to add the image.
    The image must be in JPG, PNG, or JPEG format and the size limit is 5MB.

  6. Select the product file and click on Upload.

  7. Click on Save.

You'll always be able to edit the information you save from the 'Actions' column.

Suppose you prefer to ease the identification of your product in the Inventory window of Order Entry (Order Entry > Add Order > Add Items). In that case, you can select a color for Background and another for Text Color to determine how it will be displayed in the list of products there.
Recommendation: if you choose a dark Background, try selecting a light or white color for Text Color, or vice versa

Notice that the system allows adding additional information to your product, such as:

  • Sell Fast After. The limit of days you can set to show the sales team how soon to sell a product. The product will display a lightning bolt icon for urgency once you place the deadline. To learn more, read Inventory Options.

  • Local After. The maximum age you can set for a product, provided you want it to automatically move to the local inventory once it reaches that configured age. To learn more, read Inventory Options.

  • Legacy Code. An additional identifier per product. You can assign it depending on your company's needs.

  • VBN Code. A code that eases product identification in transactions within the floral auction. To learn more, read Add a VBN Code.

  • Factor on Mixed Boxes: A number to determine the space occupied by this product in a box.

  • Rollup Product: An alternative name used per product when converting boxes to units. To learn more, read Rollup Product When Coverting Boxes to Units .

  • Manual Barcode: A code you can manually define for your product or a group of similar products from different suppliers. This code will help you find them more quickly, and you can view it on the Barcode label.
