Product aliases allow for products to appear with an Alias on the Purchase Orders printed and on Vendor Shipping Labels rather than displaying the full product description from the Master Product List. This option must be enabled from the Purchase Order Options.
If a product alias is edited, the change will only affect the subsequent Purchase Orders. Product aliases of Purchase Orders already generated will remain the same.
