The Automatic Sell Fast setting enables users to mark on-hand products in the Open Market Inventory with a lightning bolt icon so the sales team will know that those items need to be sold as soon as possible.

The Sell-Fast Option does not invalidate other markups.

Step one: Enable the Setting

To use the sell-fast option, you need to enable the setting. To enable this setting, do the following instructions:

  1. Go to Setup and select Settings.

  2. Click on Inventory Options.

  3. Enable Automatic setup of Sell Fast and Local Inventory settings.

If you don’t set the sell-fast markup, the system will keep the inventory prices as they are.

Step two: Set when a Product becomes Sell Fast

The Sell Fast must be set for each product. To set a product’s Sell Fast Aging, do the following instructions:

  1. Go to Setup and select Products.

  2. Search the product.

  3. Click on Edit from the Actions column.

  4. Set the number of aging days the system will require in order for a product to be marked with the "Sell Fast" icon.

  5. Click on Save

When you use this option, products will automatically become Sell Fast once they reach a predetermined Aging.

  2. Select the customer you would like to set the price markup for

  3. Click on Edit from the Actions column.

  5. Locate the Sell Fast Markup option on the right-hand side of the screen.

  6. Set the markup amount by a percentage or dollar amount (positive or negative amounts can be used).

  7. Click on Save.

Once you have completed the setup process, the sales team will be able to identify those items on the Order Entry Inventory and quote their customers based on the markup price.
