Change the Prebook Unit Type

Overview

 

The system allows users to change the unit type of Prebook lines before of creating the Purchase Order. This article explains how this option works.

 

Instructions

  1. Go to Purchase Orders>>Add PO.

  2.  The system will display the Bulk Purchasing Mode.

  3. Use the available filters to find the Prebooks you want to add to a PO. Keep in mind that the Units/Box, Unit Type, St/Bunch columns may be hidden. Click on the gear icon to display them.

  4. Double click on the Unit Type column. If the Prebook Line is in boxes and the unit type is changed, the system will give the option of changing the unit price according to the quantity of units. If the product is in units and the user tries to change the unit type, you might confirm that the unit price is correct.

Important

  • The system does not allow to change the unit type of assorted products, recipes nor Prebooks with lines already added to a PO, either completely or partially.

  • The system allows users changing the price of Prebooks if needed from the Bulk Purchasing Mode. This option must be enabled per user in the Setup Company Users & User Options.

 

 Roles enabled to perform this action: Admin, Sales Manager, Procurement Manager, Procurement User.
