Database Settings - Vendor Availability

There are some options you can set up according to your company's needs. The options are activated only through the Komet Data Base so you must contact Komet Sales in case you want to activate one of the settings.

• Skip Past Days: By enabling this setting, the system will only consider products for all VA allocations process with an Available from date equal or later than the PO date.
• Vendor Availability Inventory Age Affected: When this is enabled, the system will consider the "Available From" date from the vendor's products for the VA processes in order to calculate the product aging. Even if the arrival date of the product is changed, the aging will remain the same. The Sell Fast and Local After options will consider the field Aging (as of the Available From date).
  

  Once this option is activated, the system will show two agings from the Inventory Summary, Staging Area and when adding products to an order: Aging: that displays the Product Aging since the Available From date of VA products, and Arrived Since, that displays the product aging since its arrival date to the warehouse.

  

  While adding products to an order from the Order Entry, the system will also display both columns. When activating the Hide Sensitive Data option, the system will hide those columns:

  

  
  
  

• Change the Unit Cost: If this option is enabled, the system will allow editing the unit cost field in the Available Items screen.
• Allow Negative: This setting enables to use more products than those available.
• E-commerce quantity Cap: This option allows to limit the product quantity to show in the E-commerce.
