Future Sales in E-Commerce

In this article you will learn how to sell products from your future sales inventory in bunches and boxes on your e-commerce.

Requirements
To use this feature, you must first enable the Sell By Units Setting.
Display Future Inventory in E-Commerce
To start selling products from your future inventory in e-commerce, do the following instructions:
Go to Setup and select Settings.
Click on E-Commerce Settings.
Check the box of Show Future Inventory.
Optional: Check Sell products in bunches under the future inventory setting if you want to sell future sales inventory in bunches.
Optional: Set a quantity cap for boxes and bunches.
Click on Save.
Multi-Location Companies
This setting is managed on a location basis. You will find these setting in the Setup > Settings > Locations tab.
Inventory Behaviour
When selling Boxes and Bunches from the Future Sales Inventory in e-commerce, take the following statements into account:
You do not need to open boxes in this inventory in order to display products as bunches. In the future sales inventory, the system will display products in the boxes and bunches tabs of your e-commerce.
When a customer buys bunches from this inventory, the system will automatically open a box to fulfill the order.
When the system opens a box, it will not open another box for the same product until the first box is completely sold.
