Komet Sales allows you to activate a countdown timer for the e-commerce so your buyers know how much time remains to complete the checkout process and at the same time ensures that the shopping cart cannot be abandoned. The default time buyers will have to complete their orders is 60 minutes or less, as the timer also considers shipping cut-offs of the vendors.

How Does the Timer Work?
The system administrator enables the timer from the company settings and decides if the system should send email notifications to
the salesperson when an order expires.
Customers log in to the e-commerce site, and the countdown starts
when they add the first product to their shopping cart.
If the
timer expires, the system cancels the order and empties the shopping cart.
The system will notify the customer on the app and via email informing them that the order has been canceled
and they have to
start again.

The default time of the e-commerce timer is 60 minutes. However, this time may be reduced for orders with a ship date equal to the current date. In these cases, the system will validate the chosen carrier's cut-off time and the original source of the products added. The system will inform you of what is available and warn you of early shipping cut-off times. For more information, read Checkout errors - E-Commerce. |
