In case any correction has to be done on an AWB, the system allows vendors to edit this information as long as the AWB is still open. Some changes include the AWB number, the ship date, also add or remove products from the AWB. 

Instructions

Editing an AWB can be done by following the next steps:

 Keep in mind that after you are done editing your AWB, you must print the labels once again.

Ui step

Go to www.kometsales.com and click on the Log in button.


Ui step

Enter your username and password. If you don't have your logins, please contact your customer so that they can provide you with your username and password.

Once you log into the system, a "Select your Company" window will pop up containing all of the customers that are linked to your account. Please select the company that you are going to work with. Once you're in the system you can quickly change companies by clicking on the "Change Company" link on the upper right-hand corner. In case your account is linked to a single company, the option "Select your Company" won't show up.

Look at the available tabs and click on Shipping>AWB Summary. (If you are a company usergo to Grower>>AWB Summary).

If you're looking for a particular AWB, click on the Search button and fill in the search fields. Once done click on Search.

Once you've found the AWB number click on the drop-down arrow within the Actions column, then click on Edit.

Once you get to the Add AWB Screen, you can do the following:

  • Replace the information such as ship date, AWB number, remove/add products from the AWB and Move items to another AWB (Please refer to the image below).
  • To complete the operation please click on Save. To go back to the AWB Summary Screen proceed to click on Done.



Labels

The labels will need to be reprinted. To do so you need to place a checkmark in the checkbox of the line item you need to print labels for, click on the Print labels button located on the top right-hand side and the system will automatically generate the labels with the new information for each box.

If you edit an AWB in Multilocation mode from the grower tab, the system will only update the AWB for items that belong to the locations associated to the logged on user.

Moving Items to Another AWB

The user has the option to move all the items within an AWB to another AWB (new or existing). 

To move items follow the steps below

Following the previous steps mentioned, please edit an AWB.

Once you get to the Add AWB screen select the items that you want to move by selecting the checkbox of the line items you want to move.

Click on the Move items to another AWB button. A popup window will appear called, "Choose the AWB Information". Enter the AWB number to transfer the items. The system will display the AWB #s available to use just by typing the first 3 digits. You can select the one you need or enter a new AWB #.

Tip

You can also add letters (3 maximum) when entering an AWB in the Choose the AWB Information window.

After selecting an AWB already created, the system autocompletes the Ship Date and Arrival Date fields Here, you have the option to change this information and doing so it will update all the inventory items within the selected AWB. If you entered a new AWB, you must enter a Ship Date and Arrival Date.

Finally, click on Save and a confirmation pop-up window will appear, click on Continue and the system will move the item(s) automatically.

To verify, you can go back to the AWB Summary Screen and check the AWB record.
