This article explains how to synchronize your shipment information with FedEx and print the specific labels for that carrier.

  • The maximum number o boxes per line that FedEx allows to ship is 40 boxes.

Ui step

Click on Shipping>>Inventory.


Ui step

 Use the available filters to find the order you want to ship through FedEx.

 Hover the mouse over the warning icon  in the carrier column and click on Change FedEx Details.

The FedEx Integration window will appear. Verify the Recipient Information, Billing information and Shipment Details and make the necessary adjustments.

The Shipment Details section will display the information of the boxes within the order. In case all the information is correct, click on Save and Process. On the contrary, if you want to change any information of the boxes to be sent through FedEx, delete the product lines and click on Add.

Once you click on Add, the Add FedEx Item window will appear. Enter the information of the first boxes line to be sent ship through FedEx. 

  • Quantity: the number of boxes per line that will be shipped for that product line.
  • Box Type: the box type.
  • Real Weight: The Real Weight per box (in Kg).
  • Box Dimensions: the box dimensions (in Inches).
  • Dimensional weight: the dimensional weight in Kg. This field is calculated using the international standard calculation: ( L x W x H (in inches) / 166)/2.20462.
  • Chargeable weight: the bigger weight between the Real and the Dimensional Weight.

The information you enter in the step will be sent to FedEx, however it won't affect your order information in Komet.

Once you have made all the adjustments, click on Save and Process. The information will be sent to FedEx. If the process finishes successfully, a confirmation window will appear with the tracking number. You also will be able to download the labels for the shipment. The video below will guide you through the process.

Failed Processes

When the process fails for any reason, hover the mouse over the warning icon (warning) next to  FedEx name from the Order Summary screen. You will see the reason why the information could not be sent to FedEx.
