Adding a QC inspection:
To add a QC inspection follow the steps below:
Go to the QC (Quality Control) tab and click on Add Inspection / Vendor Credit.
Click on Select a Product, search for the product using the available filters and under Actions column click on Inspect.
Info title Information: Custom Columns and Report By clicking on Export PDF, the system will allow you to generate a PDF report of the information filtered on this screen. Notice there is a gear icon from which you can choose the columns to be displayed.
When you click on Export to PDF, the system will generate a report based on the filters applied (and will also include the UPC, Pull Date, and location in the case of multilocation companies). The report will look like the next one. Notice the report also includes the UPC, Pull Date ( location instead of pull date, in the case of multilocation companies).
Type how many boxes were inspected and add the Quality Control Reason.
Info title Information QC reasons can also be set under Setup > Settings, go to Inventory > Quality Control Options.
Select the Action (to set the actions please send us an email - support@kometsales.com with the information).
Images or documents and notes can also be added to the inspection. To record the information, click on Save. The inspection will have a status "In Progress". If you click on Finalize, the system will ask you to send an email to the vendor before finalizing the inspection.
7. Go to the QC Summary sub-tab to view the inspections and the status of each of them, here you can also View, Edit or Print them.

While adding a product before make a QC inspection, the system will allow you to generate reports based on the information filtered on this screen. When you click on Export to PDF, the system will generate a report based on the filters applied (and will also include the UPC, Pull Date, and location in the case of multilocation companies). If you click on Export to Excel, the system will ask you to enter an email address where the report should be sent to. The system will sent an email with a link valid for 4 hours in order to download the required report. The Excel report will include the next information:
