Inventory

Inventory

The Inventory management in Komet Sales includes the sections listed below. Select the subject you want to learn more about from the following list:

Hard Goods

Komet Sales allows you to manage not only fresh cut flowers and plants but also hard goods. This section will give you step by step instructions on how to manage hard good products and categories, how to add them to your inventory, and how to bill them.

Inventory in Units Adjustments

In this article, you will learn how to update the on-hand quantity amount of the unit's Inventory that is physically available versus the Komet Sales available quantity for the same product.

Roles enabled to perform this action: Admin, Sales Manager, Procurement User, Inventory.

Inventory Summary

This section will help users receive products from the Staging Area to their Inventory Summary. In addition, there will be tools such as the Inventory Stats to help get a summarized overview of the company's actual inventory.

Pricing

In this page, you will find articles that go over how to manage product prices for inventory, hard goods, and future units.

Quality Control

Quality Control inspections provide a quick and efficient way to document the product that is being inspected and share this information with the vendors. Just pick the product that you want to inspect, if problems are found, add pictures and QC reasons. Vendors will be able to view the inspections once they are approved.

Staging Area

Once POs are successfully added to an AWB, they are sent to the staging area with an "In Transit" status until they arrive to the warehouse. From the Staging area, users can set the real AWB number, add box dimensions, open boxes, and confirm products to the inventory.

Vendor Availability

Komet Sales provides the possibility to view, in real time, what availability vendors currently have or will have for future weeks. The system allows you to upload a CSV file with the list of products that will be available to be purchased.
