Instructions
How to create a prepayment credit?
- Select the Customer.
- Enter the payment amount amount.
- Click on Save & New to continue.
- A confirmation window will appear, click on close to finishingfinish. Notice the credit is saved as Prepayment.
Applying a Credit to an Invoice
If a customer has credits, they will be automatically displayed for the selected customer.
To use the credit, follow these simple steps:
- Click on "Here" to apply the credit. Select the credit that you want to apply and Close. The system will automatically apply the amounts to the oldest invoice first, and on any subsequent invoices until the credit is fully used.
2. Click the "Save & Close" button located at the lower right hand corner to apply the payment. To receive additional payments click on the "Save & New" button.
3. A confirmation window will open, click on Save to confirm the Overpayment.
4. Once you have finished, a confirmation pop-up message will appear at the bottom right hand corner of the screen.

Notice that the notes you add to a payment are also available also for credits (overpayments). Once you hover the mouse over the note icon for a prepayment, the added note will be displayed. If you select several credits having that have notes, they will appear separated by a semicolon. These notes could be useful for indicating to indicate which invoices a credit should be applied to. Click on the image to see the details.
