Select the Ship Via Option of a Customer

To assign the Default Ship-Via of a Customer, do the following instructions:

  1. Go to Setup and select Customers.

  2. Search the Customer you are modifying.

  3. Click on Edit from the Actions column.

  4. Click on Advanced from the Setup tab.

  5. Select the Ship Via option from the dropdown menu in the Ship Via field in the E-Commerce Settings group. There are three Ship Via options to choose from:

    1. Through the Warehouse. Shipping items

via warehouse means
    1. via warehouse means that these items will be sent from

the vendor to
    1. the vendor to any of the importer'

warehouse locations
    1. s warehouse locations; these items will be processed through the inventory and shipped to the final customer from

the warehouse
    1. the warehouse.

    2. Direct From the vendor: This option was created for orders that are shipped directly from

the vendor to
    1. the vendor to the final customer. Remember that once this option is enabled for a given customer, the system will only display Vendor Availability inventory (including K2K, if applicable). If this option is selected, the system won't take into account

the AWB freight
    1. the AWB freight, handling costs,

 duties
    1.  duties, nor inbound truck freight in

If this option is selected, the system won't take into account the AWB freight, handling costs, duties, nor inbound truck freight in the landed cost calculation in order to suggest a selling price. The system will only consider the flower cost and the GPM.

      1.  In this case, the customer will be able to choose how the products should be shipped. If the customer selects Ship Via Warehouse, the system will display On Hand, Future, and Vendor Availability inventory (including K2K if it applies). If the user selects Ship Via Grower, the system will only display Vendor Availability inventory (including K2K, if it applies).

     integration in the Customer Company, the system will associate the customer information of the Prebook as a Ship To in the Vendor Company's invoice as well as the selected carrier and Carrier account number.

    In case the Prebook Customer has a Ship To, the system will display together the Ship To and the customer name (separated by c/o). E.g. Store 1 c/o ABC Wholesaler.
