Display Vendor Name or Code for E-commerce

By default, the system e-commerce site will not display any show vendor information to your customers. However, you can customize the vendor information each customer sees in the e-commerce depending on your preferences. With this setting, you can select control what vendor details are displayed using the Display Vendor setting by choosing one of the following options:

  • No. The system will not display  (Default): Customers won't see any vendor information. This is the default option.

  • Only the code. The Code: The system displays the vendor code.

  • Only the name. The system displays the complete vendor's name of where the product comes from along with the code.

When
  • Name: Customers will see the full vendor name.

Choosing the second or third option is selected, the system will display a Vendor filter to enable buyers to search using the option activates a Vendor filter option in the e-commerce's Sidebar Filtersallowing buyers to search for products based on vendor name or code.

If you use the have the Ship Via Grower option option predefined for a customer, you may want to hide we recommend hiding the vendor's information or display showing only its their code.

To set the information a customer will see in the e-commerce, do the following instructions:

  1. Go to Setup and select Customers.

  2. Search the customer. 

  3. Click on Edit from the Actions column. 

  4. The Customer Information window will open. On the Setup tab click on the Advanced link. 

  5. In the E-commerce Settings section, select the Display Vendor option you prefer. 

  6. Click on Save.
