Once you add the first item to your shopping cart, the order header will be locked (ship date, carrier, ship to, PO #). To be able to edit this information, you must remove the products from your shopping cart first and proceed to edit the information required.

titleInstructions for Editing Orders

To edit the orders that you have placed in the E-commerce follow the steps below:

Log into your E-commerce account.

 Go to the E-commerce tab.

 Click on "Order Summary".

Ui step

Go to Actions > click on Edit, Delete or Checkout.

After you click on edit the system will bring you back to the "New Order" tab, where you can edit the order and make the changes needed.

titleEditing a Prebook Order From E-commerce

From the Prebook Summary, you can also edit a Prebook order provided that has not been checked out.

Login into your E-commerce account.

 Go to the E-commerce tab.

Click on "Prebook Summary".

Go to the Actions column and click on Edit.

When you click on Edit, the system will take you to the New Order screen and you will able to change some features of the prebook, such as Mark Code, Carrier, and Purchase Quantity. (Look at the picture below).

 When you click on Your Cart and then on View Cart, you will be able to remove items.

Finally, you can either Continue Shopping or click on Checkout and the order will be sent to the account manager for final approval.

Warning

Remember you can only add or remove products to the order. You cannot edit the products already placed in the order.

titleEditing Orders in Progress

Every time you login into the E-Commerce, the system will display a popup when you have pending orders for the next three days that maybe you want to re-use. 

Once you click on Use, in the actions column, you will be able to continue editing your pending order. However, if you want to place a new order, just click on Create a new order button and you will be directed to the New order screen from the E-commerce. For more information please read Place an Order in E-commerce.

Important

  • Customers will not be able to edit Prebooks and Orders created by Salespeople.

  • You can only edit orders with an "In progress" status. Once you complete the checkout process, changes are unavailable.

Edit E-commerce Orders

To edit the e-commerce orders “In progress”, do the following instructions:

  1. Login into your Komet e-commerce account.

  2. Go to the E-commerce tab and select Order Summary.

  3. In the Actions column, click on the Edit option of the “In progress” order you need.

  4. In the Ongoing Orders window, select the order you want to edit.

  5. Now, you have three options when it comes to editing your order:

    1. Change the Shipping or Delivery Address.
      Click on Shipping Address and select the address you want, then click on the Shopping Cart.

    2. Add new products.
      Select the products you want to add from the table below, then click on the Shopping Cart.

    3. Remove existing items from your order.
      Go to the Shopping Cart and, in the Actions column click on the Remove option of the product.

Info

Your order number will be automatically canceled if you don't checkout within 3 days. In the meantime, it will have the In progress status in your Order Summary.

To edit the e-commerce prebook “In progress”, do the following instructions:

  1. Login into your Komet e-commerce account.

  2. Go to the E-commerce tab and select Prebook Summary.

  3. In the Actions column, click on the Edit option of the prebook you need.

  4. Now, back in the New Order tab, you have three options when it comes to editing your order:

    1. Change the Shipping or Delivery Address.
      Click on Shipping Address and select the address you want, then click on the Shopping Cart.

    2. Add new products.
      Select the products you want to add from the table below, then click on the Shopping Cart.

    3. Remove existing items from your order.
      Go to the Shopping Cart and, in the Actions column click on the Remove option of the product.
