Overview

These are the instructions on how to enable or disable the Password when scanning the boxes with the option "Free Shipping".When the users need to scan boxes with the Free Shipping option the scanner will ask for the password in order to do so.

Instructions

To enable or disable this option follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Setup > Settings.



  2. Go under Shipping > click Shipping Options.

     

  3. The Shipping Options window will pop up.

  4. Enable or disable the option "Block the Free Shipping option in the scanner".

  5. Enter the Password that the scanner will prompt and click Save.


 

Relevant Articles

Only an Administrator can setup these options.

 

By enabling this option the system will ask to put in a password. This is important in order to avoid pullers pulling and scanning the wrong boxes.
