Overview
Prebooks are normally created through two different screens: the most common is the "Add Prebook" screen and the other one is through Future Sales.The system now allows you to use an excel file to create Prebooks in the system, you just have to fill in the information in the template and upload it in order to generate the Prebook.
Instructions
If you want to start using this feature please follow the instructions below:
Go to Prebooks & SO's > Prebook Summary.
Click on the button actions and then click on "Add Prebook from Excel File".
The system will take you to the "Create Prebooks from Excel" screen. This screen will allow you to download the template where you will be able to type in the Prebook information. To download the template click on the link "here" located above the outlined section of this page.
Once your template has the information to create the Prebook, save it in your computer and then drag it to the outlined section or click inside it to upload the file to the system.
Once the file is successfully uploaded, the system will create the Prebook using the information on the file. Keep in mind that this process can take a few minutes to be completed and in case something is wrong with the file you uploaded you will receive an email notification with the errors.
