Overview

The House number or HAWB is a consolidation service, and is issued by a freight forwarder on receipt of goods from shipper agreeing to deliver goods at destination.

Instructions

Editing a House AWB is quite easy, just follow the steps below:

  • Go to www.kometsales.com and enter your username and password, if you don't have one please contact your importer in order to be provided with one.

  • If you currently work with several companies that use Komet Sales, once you enter your account information the system will display the companies that you work with, select one of them in order to continue.
  • Go to Shipping > AWB Summary.

  • Use the filters (if needed) in order to find the AWB that you need to edit. Go under the "Actions" column and click on Edit.

  • Select the products by checking the check-box, then click on the Change House AWB button.

  • A window will pop up, enter the new House AWB number and click on Save.

You will be able to see the changes once you have saved the information.
