Overview

The Inventory Rotation will automatically organize the products based on their aging, as a result, the system will always display the oldest products on top of the searching results, followed by the newest.

Instructions

Only the sales managers can setup this option, but Komet allows them to add exceptions to the users under sales roles, enabling them to deactivate this option.  To do so, please follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Setup > Settings

  2. Under Order Entry, click on Inventory Rotation.

  3. Check the Enable Inventory Rotation option.

  4. If you would like to add an Exception to a sales user, input the names of the users you would like to add and click on Save.

Note that the sales managers and the users listed under Exceptions can un-check the Enable Inventory Rotation option at any time in the top right hand of the inventory screen under Order Entry. To do this, follow the  next steps:

  1. Go to Order Entry > Add Order
  2. Enter the information requested and click on add Items.

  3. Click on the setting symbol and click one the Enable Inventory Rotation check-box, which will hide the Aging column.

Any sales role user added as an exception will not be restricted by the Inventory Rotation option.
