Go to Inventory > Pricing. |

Search for the desired product. |

Under the "Hold" column, type in the quantity to be placed on hold, and press ''Enter''. |

The system will display a padlock next to the product's name to show the product's hold status. |

To remove from hold (the padlock) and allow the sales team to see the items as available in the inventory, type 0 on the ''Hold'' field and press ''Enter''.
InformationWhen the number of products placed on hold is equal to the available items in a product line from the inventory items, staging area items and future inventory pages under the section, the system will display a black padlock indicating that salespeople will not see that product.Image Removed

How to Hold Items From the Future Inventory?

Hold Products from the Inventory
To hold products from the inventory, do the following instructions:
Go to Inventory and select the Pricing tab.
Find the product you want to hold.
In the Hold column, type the quantity you want to hold and press Enter.
The product line will display a gray padlock if any quantity is on hold.

When you reserve (hold) all available products in the inventory items, staging area, and future inventory from the Pricing tab, a black padlock appears. It means the product is not visible to the sales team. To make it available again, set the Hold value to 0 and press Enter. |
