Download and unzip the Komet Sales POD files uploader here. Preferably, unzip this service in your C Windows folder (C:\Windows) for ease of access. The file location will depend on your computer or server configuration. |

Look for the bin folder and modify the following attributes from the config.properties file using a text editor. Important- Use Notepad or WordPad text editors to preserve the line breaks of the file.
- Use backslash ( \ ) or double slash ( // ) to name the pod folders. Do not combine them!
- token: replace the default token with the token generated in Komet Sales.
- folder.in-progress: replace the << Path >> with the folder location where the files are processed. For example, C://pod//in-progress
- folder.pending: replace the << Path >> with the folder location of files pending to process. For example, C://pod//pending
- folder.error: replace the << Path >> with the folder location of incorrect files. For example, C://pod//error
- folder.processed: replace the << Path >> with the folder location of successfully processed files. For example, C://pod//processed.

Go to the Start menu and search for Command Prompt (CMD), right-click on it and run it as administrator. |

Enter the path location where the NSSM utility is installed. For example: bashMidnight

Run the following command to open the NSSM service installer window: bashMidnight

Select the file kometsales_pod_upload.bat from the path field in the Application tab and Click on Install service to complete the service installation.

Go to the Start menu and search for Services. Look for KometPODUploader-PRODUCTION on the services list and right-click on it or click on to start the service. |
The PODs are uploaded on the Komet system once they saved in the folder. pending folder and manually named with the same invoice number as the one within Komet Sales. The system allows you to upload a single POD or several at the same time. You can print or email processed PODs to customers within the system once you complete the process. | In case you get the error message Failed to load PDF document, create a folder and make sure to save all the POD files you will upload. Once you do that, transfer them to the folder named folder.pending for the system to process them. Read POD is not working for further information. |
