Tip

User Roles:

To Place Items on hold: Admin, Inventory, and Sales Manager.

To sell items, even if they are on hold: Admin, Sales Manager.

Company users can use the system to place products on hold in the inventory, preventing them from being sold.

Hold Products from the Inventory

To hold products from the inventory, do the following instructions:

  1. Go to Inventory and select the Pricing tab.

  2. Find the product you want to hold.

  3. In the Hold column, type the quantity you want to hold and press Enter.

The product line will display a gray padlock if any quantity is on hold.

InfoWhen you reserve (hold)

padlock next to the product name:

  • A gray padlock indicates that there are some quantities on hold

  • A black padlock means you have reserved all available products in the inventory items, staging area, and future inventory from the Pricing tab

  • . In this case, the on-hold product will not be visible to the sales team.

To make it products available again, set the Hold value to 0 and press Enter.
