You can use Komet Sales as a White Label System, so your brand appears instead of the Komet Sales brand.

You can put your brand for example, in the login screen, the URL of the platform, and the e-commerce, and customize some of the email notifications sent to your business partners.

If you want to have White Label, please contact our sales team.

If you want to use your own URL, you will need an SSL and a CNAME record.

  2. The SSL certificate (please see below for details).

Generate SSL

You must generate a Security Certificate for the URL you want to appear to access your Komet Account and services.

To obtain a Security Certificate, you must create a Keystore, a CSR and a Private Key (a text file you must send to support@kometsales.com or your Komet Sales advisor).

We recommend you check the documentation of your domain's provider. E.g: comodo, GoDaddy, justhost, etc.

During the process of generating the SSL, you will ask to enter the CSR, and you must specify that the certificate is for Java Server / Tomcat.

CNAME Record

To have your own domain, you must create a Canonical Name (CNAME) to create an alias corresponding to existing internet host records.

To create a CNAME by using a DSN Manager, do the following instructions:

  1. Login in a DNS Manager.

  2. Click on Add/Create DNS.

  3. Fill in the required fields:

    • Host: the name of the resource you are creating. Max 25 characters allowed. E.g: www.

    • TTL: Time to Live in seconds.

    • Type: CNAME Record.

    • Target: the name of the host for the selected alias. E.g: http://kometsales.com .

  4. Click on Save.

This process may vary depending on your DNS hosting provider. We will send you the DNS you should set up in the CNAME record.
