Overview

The system allows company users to hold items from the inventory, so they are not sold.

Instructions

  1. Go to Inventory > Pricing.

  2. Search for the desired product.

  3. Under the "Hold" column, type in the quantity to be placed on hold, and press ''Enter''.

  4. The system will display a padlock next to the product's name to show the product's hold status.

  5. To remove from hold (the padlock) and allow the sales team to see the items as available in the inventory, type 0 on the ''Hold'' field and press ''Enter''.

    Information

    When the number of products placed on hold is equal to the available items in a product line from the inventory items, staging area items and future inventory pages under the Pricing section, the system will display a black padlock indicating that salespeople will not see that product.

 

 

 

 

To see which items are currently on hold, Go to the Inventory Summary, all items placed on hold will have a padlock next to their name.

How to hold items from the future inventory?


Hold on Confirm

There is an option to configure whether or not the products should be put on hold automatically once they have been confirmed. For more information please refer to Setting and Creating Future Sales.

 

  1. Go to Inventory > Pricing.
  2. Click on Future inventory.
  3. Under the "Hold" column, type in the quantity to be placed on hold, and press ''Enter''.
  4. The system will display a padlock next to the product's name to show the product's hold status.

    If you click on the Mass Update button, you can hold or release all the items all at once.
