What happens if I change the Truck Date?

Suppose you modify the Truck Date from an existing Prebook to the same Truck Date of another existing Prebook.

In that case, the system will duplicate the Prebook for the other Truck Date, which could result in the creation of a new Prebook, which might duplicate the order for the different Truck Date.

We recommend you review your Prebooks after changing the truck date.

Why do I have duplicated Prebooks?

Scenario

I changed the Truck Date of a SO/Prebook, changed the Master Standing Order, and now I have duplicated prebooks.

Context

If you modify the Truck Date of a SO/Prebook and then modify the Recurrence in the Master Standing Order, the system could duplicate a Prebook in the date of the SO/Prebook you modified before.

Solution

We recommend you review your Prebooks after modifying the Recurrence from the Master Standing Order.

Can I delete a product from a S/O Prebook?

Yes, you can delete products from a Prebook, but the system will not delete the product line; it will highlight it in red to indicate the product was removed.

Deleting a product from a Prebook does not replicate it in other Prebooks.

You can place a product on hold or erase it from the Master Standing Order to replicate these changes.

Can I delete a product from every Prebook?

Yes, you can delete products directly in the Master Standing Order, which will remove them from every Prebook that does not have a Purchase Order yet.

How can I change a Prebook’s Price List?

Standing Orders automatically assign prices based on the active price list when generating Prebooks.

With this process, you can change the price list of a Prebook generated through a Standing Order from this screen and select the price list from the Price List field.

Which Price List applies to Master Standing Orders?

For Master SOs, the system will take the information from the active price list.

Can I change the Ship Via?

You can change the Ship Via of a Prebook or Master SO, and in the case of Prebooks, you can choose if it is a one-time or a temporary change.

If you want to make a permanent change, change the Ship Via in the Master SO and select the starting date when you want the changes to be applied.

What is the previous version?

In the previous version, you could only update one Prebook at a time instead of managing every order from the same screen. You also could not replicate changes to other Prebooks.

In the case of Standing Orders, changes would only apply to Prebooks created after the modification.

The previous version is how Standing Orders used to work before we created this new feature.
