Komet Sales allows for administrators to set IP restriction access to their Komet Sales company account for specified company users so that they can only access their Komet Sales account from approved specified IP addresses.

Instructions

Follow these steps:

  1. Go to Setup > Settings.
  2. Under "Company Setup" click on IP Restrictions.
  3. The IP Restrictions window will open up, here you can manage all the valid IP addresses that a Komet Sales account can be accessed from.
  4. In the "Description" field enter the description of the IP that you would like to search for to Edit or Delete. Click on Search.
  5. You can add a new IP address if needed by clicking on the "New IP Restriction" green button.
  6. Enter the "IP" address and "Description" in the respective fields. Click on Save.
  7. Proceed to set up the restrictions by user, as explained on Address Access Restriction.


How does this option work?

Once the restriction is set, this is how the user will see their login screen while attempting to access their Komet Account from a not allowed IP address:
