Hold Products from the Inventory

To hold products from the inventory, do the following instructions:

  1. Go to Inventory and select the Pricing tab.

  2. Find the product you want to hold.

  3. In the Hold column, type the quantity you want to hold and press Enter.

The product line will display a padlock next to the product name:

  • The gray padlock means there are some quantities on hold.

  • The Black padlock means you reserve (hold) all available products in the inventory items, staging area, and future inventory from the Pricing tab, and the on hold product will not be visible to the sales team.

To make products on hold available again, set the Hold value to 0 and press Enter.
