Komet Sales allows for administrators to set IP restriction access to their Komet Sales company account for specified company users so that they can only access their Komet Sales account from approved specified IP addresses.

Set IP Restrictions

To manage and set IP restrictions, fo the following instructions:

  1. Go to Setup and select Settings.

  2. Click on IP Restrictions from the Company Setup group of settings.

  3. The IP Restrictions window will open up, here you can manage all the valid IP addresses that a Komet Sales account can be accessed from.

  4. In the Description field enter the description of the IP that you would like to search for to Edit or Delete. Click on Search.

  5. You can add a new IP address if needed by clicking on the "New IP Restriction" green button.

  6. Enter the "IP" address and "Description" in the respective fields. Click on Save.

  7. Proceed to set up the restrictions by the user, as explained on IP Address Access Restriction.

Once the restriction is set, this is how the user will see their login screen while attempting to access their Komet Account from a not-allowed IP address:
