Setting the Arrival Date in the Staging Area
In this article, you will learn how to set up the arrival date from the Staging Area.
User Roles: Admin, Procurement Manager, Procurement User, Sales Manager and Inventory.
Once vendors add products to AWB, they will automatically appear in the Staging Area without an arrival date. You must set that date for each item to confirm and transfer them to the inventory.
Products in the Staging Area
Since the Staging Area holds all the products that have been shipped by the vendor but have not arrived, the system allows you to manage items that have been added to an AWB by the vendor.
You can filter by:
Port of Origin.
Truck Date: The system will filter by the Truck Date of the Prebook associated to the Purchase Order of the product line.
Set the Arrival Date
The Arrival Date is the estimated day your product arrives in inventory.
To set up the Arrival Date in the Staging Area, do the following instructions:
Go to the Inventory tab and select Staging Area.
In the Actions column, select the Edit option of the product.
Enter the Arrival Date and click on Save.
Setting the Arrival Date in the Staging Area for Multilocation Companies
In the case of multi-location companies, the system allows you to set a different arrival date for each location associated with the same AWB. Once in the Staging Area, use the Search button and filter by a specific AWB to proceed with the instructions outlined in the Set the Arrival Date section.
