Modify the Truck Date of a Master SO or a SO/Prebook

In this article you’ll learn how to make one-time, temporary, and permanent changes to the Truck Date of a Master Standing Order (Master SO) or a Standing Order Prebook (SO/Prebook).

User roles: Admin, Procurement Manager, and Sales Users.

Edit the Truck Date of an existing SO/Prebook

  1. Go to Prebooks & SOs and select Standing Order Summary.

  2. Click Edit in the Actions column from the Standing Order you want to modify; this opens the Standing Order and the Prebooks associated with it.

  3. Choose the Prebook you wish to modify from the date tabs at the top of the list.

  4. Change the Truck Date.

  5. Click on Save to store the changes.

  6. Click on Continue in the confirmation screen.

  7. Choose if you want to replicate the changes to other Prebooks or if you wish to modify only the selected Prebook.

  8. Optional: If you want to replicate the changes, select the date when the changes stop applying to future Prebooks.

  9. Optional: Check the box at the bottom to replicate changes to “Double” orders and click Save Changes.

  10. Click OK in the confirmation screen.

Suppose you modify the Truck Date from an existing Prebook to the same Truck Date of another existing Prebook.

In that case, the system will duplicate the Prebook for the other Truck Date, which could result in the creation of a new Prebook, which might duplicate the order for the different Truck Date.

We recommend you review your Prebooks after changing the truck date.

Shipping Days in existing Prebook Orders will not be updated.

When the Standing Order includes multiple Shipping Days, the system cannot update the Shipping Days in existing Prebook Orders. After saving this change, you will need to manually update the Shipping Days in all existing Prebook Orders.

However, the system will apply any changes you have made to any other fields in this order to existing prebooks, and the Master Standing Order will be updated and new Prebook Orders created in the future will include all your changes.
