I cannot perform an allocation from the Future Inventory

Case

When performing allocations of Prebooks in units using the Future Inventory from the Bulk Purchasing Mode, the next message may appear in the bottom right hand corner of the screen.

Explanation

In this case, the Ship Date of the Prebook is before the Truck Date of the PO so the farm will not have enough time to ship the product to your warehouse. The system will establish a margin of days for this process based on certain configurations.

The settings Local After, Truck days After and Skip local after are considered to calculate the maximum numbers of days after the Truck Date of the PO to be able to perform allocations from the Future Inventory, in the following order of precedence: 

     1. Local After value per product.

     2. Local After value per category (if number 1 is not set).

     3. Future Sales >> Truck Days After value (if number 1 and 2 are set, but the Skip Local After setting is enabled).

     4. Future Sales >> Truck Days After value (if numbers 1 and 2 are not set).

     5.  Default value: 2 days after the Truck Date of the PO (if none of the above are set).

Solution

Please review with your account admin the above-mentioned settings so you know the reasons why the allocation cannot be performed and make the necessary adjustments.
